RESOURCES
One thing we wish we knew earlier is that not every therapy works for every child. Let your own child be your guide as you put together a therapy plan that works for them. You are the expert on your own child, and this is a journey you are on together.

THERABOUNCE
When you are raising a child with a disability and your life revolves around physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy etc. you can sometimes lose sight of the fact that your child is still just a kid who wants to play and have fun. Therabounce really is where therapy meets fun. From trampoline sessions to summer camp, it has been the perfect mix of therapy and fun socialization for Ayla, and it is run by one of the kindest humans on the planet
WEFLOW FASCIA THERAPY
One of the biggest regrets we have about our disability parenting journey is that it took us so long to start working with WeFlow. After years of diligent therapy and intensive with very little improvement, the changes we have seen in Ayla’s body since we began focusing on her fascia has been incredible. From eliminating her acid reflux to increased core and head control, this has by far been one other the most beneficial therapies we have tried.
FUNDING SOURCES
In the early days after your child’s diagnosis, everything can feel overwhelming. The last thing you want to do is navigate applications for financial support—and that’s completely okay. Give yourself the time and space to adjust and focus on your child and your family. When you’re ready, know that there are many incredible organizations and programs available to help support you. You don’t have to do it all at once, and you don’t have to do it alone
